Description
Mongolian long songs are traditionally from ancient times. The long songs have been processed, and the melody is getting better with the support of many talented people. Regarding history, Mongolian people's long songs are kept with the assistance of pupil-centered training and revelry' methods. The famous singers from the ancient period were very useful for the development of Mongolian people's long songs. Training for preparing drawing singers with high education in Mongolia began starting from the academic year of 1983-1984. In accordance with the decree by the Board of Ministers of the People's Republic of Mongolia, three students who were studying in the field of chorus at the State Pedagogical Institute became pupils and trained under the supervision of Norovbanzad N, labor hero of Mongolia, People's actress with state prize, and leading drawling singer of the century. To open this class, much initiative was made by DavaakhuuL, the teacher of the chorus, and other people. The above three students were Delger Ts, premier worker of culture and teacher of long songs of the current University of Culture and Arts, Altantulga, singer of the Academic Ensemble of Military Songs and Dance, and Khandsuren, singer. Since then it has been about 25 years, and a total of over 50 students have completed this class. Among them, there were three citizens of Japan and citizens of Inner Mongolian Autonomy. In recent years, the number of students from Inner Mongolian Autonomy who are going to improve their professional degrees to earn master’s and doctorate degrees has increased. In the academic year of 2007-2008, a total of 5 students studied in the fields of long songs at the Mongolian University of Culture and Arts. Graduates and students not only take first places having permanently participated in drawing-song competitions organized internationally and in our native country, but they also make great and active contributions to the advertisement of long songs. For example, Khongorzul G, a young singer, was invited and sang at the opening ceremony of the World Football Championship, which was held in Japan, and at the best performance of the ceremony of the Nobel Prize in 2005. NorovbanzadN, a labor hero of Mongolia, a People's actress with state prizes, and a leading drawing singer of the century, played a leading role in processing contents of higher education to prepare a drawing singer, a training plan, and a lesson program of singing skills. At present, there are four schools in our country that prepare professional drawing singers. Including the Mongolian University of Culture and Arts, Institute of Culture, College of Music and Dance of the Capital City, and College of Music and Dance of Zakhan province. The Institute of Culture conducts training for lyceum and bachelor degrees.
