Description
This study focuses on the ethnic status, economy, and cultural heritage of the Oirat people in Mongolia. It is based on field research conducted by the Institute of History of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences between 1986 and 1991. The work addresses various aspects of the intangible cultural heritage, including handicrafts, food culture, animal husbandry, knowledge of the natural world, festivals, folk customs, and rituals.
