Description
In this article, sports terms in dialects of the Hisar valley are considered. As various sporting events and games in the life of our ancestors played an important role. Also, the author notes that games demonstrate the richness of national culture too
the words and terms confirming it, designated called games, still remained in our language and reached us. Though in certain areas of Tajikistan a form of pronunciation of this type of term is different, the values of them are identical. In the article, it is noted that the terms designating the names of games in dialects of the Hisar Valley are grouped as girlish and boyish. Some words from this group come from early stages of development of the Tajik language. Especially the author shows that from the word "game" a number of new terms were created that have ethnolinguistic and sociolinguistic character. The words designating the names of games in dialects of the Hisar Valley are divided into dialectic words, into the Turkman-Uzbek and Russian-European. Thus the terms designating the names of games in dialects of the Hisar valley make up the most part of the lexicon of this region and have more ethnolinguistic features. Article has scientific validity, during the research which it was carried out studying of features of terms.
