Description
The Republic of Tajikistan has many historical, cultural, and natural monuments, which are evidence of its ancient land and civilization. Along with castles and fortresses, mosques, madrasas, towers, and mausoleums of religious personalities, as well as cemeteries, caves, mountains and peaks, springs, rocks, inscriptions, huge trees, and other cultural and natural objects, there are many in the country, each of which includes oral history, legends, beliefs, pilgrimage manners, and other traditions. They are interesting not only for the people of those places but also for tourists and scientists. In the Republic of Tajikistan, there are more than 3,000 material monuments and natural sites, which have different histories and are considered priceless treasures of the country.
