Description
The article describes the concept of «craft» and the historical aspects of its formation, presented by specialists from various scientific schools in Uzbekistan, Russia, and abroad. For this purpose, based on the analysis of Russian and international experience, the main scientific schools engaged in the study of the characteristics of crafts. The study of handicrafts is necessary to properly assess its role in solving current economic problems, such as population employment, raising living standards, and eliminating unemployment.
